Lapworth Local History Group

The Lapworth Local History Group was founded in 1965 aiming to foster and encourage learning about history with a focus on local issues, especially in Warwickshire and the Midlands of England. The President is the local historian, Joy Woodall, author of Portrait of Lapworth.
We are affiliated to the British Association for Local History, Warwickshire Local History Society and Friends of the Warwickshire County Record Office.
Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings in September, October, November, January, March and April at Lapworth Village Hall. The group also organises three or four visits each summer/autumn with coach transport starting from the Village Hall.

Membership is currently £10 per year (£5 for students). Visitors are welcome at meetings for £3.

Want to join? Come along to a meeting or send us a message asking for a membership form using the contact form below.
