A talk by renowned raconteur Graham Sutherland
Featuring the Revd. Arthur Savage Wade who was banned from preaching and from his own church, St Nicholas in Warwick. The Revd. John Craig from All Saints in Leamington who rebuilt the church and fell out grievously with his parish council. The Revd. Thomas Colley, archdeacon of Southam, who was quite an eccentric. The Revd. Sabine Baring-Gould who was educated at Warwick School who finally took on a parish in Devon and became an avid collector of folk songs, folktales etc. and the The Revd. Bate-Dudley who was born in Fenney Compton.
Note: this meeting is also the History Group’s AGM which will precede the talk. The talk will start around 8pm
