Lapworth Local History Group

The Lapworth Local History Group is now in its 61st year, we run a programme of talks by expert speakers on a varied mix of topics on local history or of local interest. We meet on Tuesday evenings seven times a year in January, February, March, April, September, October and November and in addition run two trips and a local guided walking tour in the summer to places of historic interest.

Want to join? New members can join at any of our meetings - just come along.

Membership is currently £10 for the year. Visitors are welcome at our meetings for £5.

All meetings are in Lapworth Village Hall.

With more than 120 members, our meetings are as much a social event as interesting and informative.

Our programme is published here and also in the Parish Magazine and advertised on local noticeboards.
We are affiliated to the British Association for Local History, Warwickshire Local History Society and Friends of the Warwickshire County Record Office.
