The Lost Railway

A new branch line opened from Lapworth via Rowington to Henley-in-Arden on 6th June 1894 taking the railway to Henley for the first time. Paul Baker will be giving a talk to the Lapworth History Group on 28th November at Lapworth Village Hall at 7:45pm about the amazing story of the construction of the branch line that took more than 30 years to build but ran for only 25 years.
