An online talk by Jill Kashi of the Baddesley Clinton Research Group

The year 1923 marked the end of an era at Baddesley Clinton. On the death of Rebecca Dering, Baddesley Clinton’s next succession of owners had to grapple with the difficulties of managing the old manor house. As the 20th Century progressed, Baddesley faced an uncertain future.  But what of the domestic and estate staff – the unsung heroes and heroines – whose hard work helped to keep it going? Much of this talk is based upon the recollections of those who actually worked there during this interesting period from 1923 to its acquisition by the National Trust in 1980

Details on how to join to talk will be emailed to members a few days beforehand. If you are not a member but would like to join the talk, please email the meeting organiser
