Those of you who enjoyed Tuesday’s fascinating talk by Dr John Hunt on Simon de Montford and the c13th Rebellion in the Midlands may be interested to know that he runs a programme of short courses and day schools at Hatton Village Hall.
The next session, from 10am to 2:30 on Friday 15th February is entitled ‘The Devil’s Brood: the Angevins and their Empire’ – an introduction to the Angevins, the early Plantagenets family, that is, Henry II and his sons. This session costs £30.
This is followed by a study day on the Venerable Bede on 22nd March.
